Reports to : Plastics Supervisor Department : Production - Molding

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Shift : Day Shift, 4 / 10 schedule, start time 6 : 00 AM

The primary responsibility of the Plastics Press Operator 1 is to run injection molding machines to make various molded plastic materials, as well as prepare the materials to be utilized in the next process. To ensure the highest level of services are provided, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• Exceed expectations by providing professional, courteous and efficient service at all times.
• Identify and address concerns immediately and determine ways to resolve them expediently.
• Provide internal and on-site customer support and problem solving as a work product / services expert. Make recommendations to lead regarding solutions.
• Start injection molding machines at beginning of shift. Read specifications to determine machine setup and prescribed temperature and time settings.
• Able to review orders with strong attention to detail and perform the same process several times per day.
• Ability to follow safety rules.

Requirements :

Level Requirements (Minimum) :

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Forklift certification experience. Willing to be certified.
