American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and expertise in Siemens and GE scanners for a fast-paced emergency department night shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in a hospital emergency department settingHandles inpatient, ER, and some trauma cases, serving a patient population from infants to geriatricsShift is 12-hour nights, 18 : 45 - 07 : 15, Friday through SundayNo call, float, or weekend RTO permittedDaily caseload averages 150-200 scans across 4 rooms, with individual shift caseloads of 8-12 patientsProcedures include CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal system, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructionUtilizes Siemens (S3000, Sequoia) and GE scannersUses EPIC and Visage systems for charting and imagingMain responsibilities include performing routine and emergency CT procedures, including Code Stroke and trauma imaging, in a high-volume, rapid-response environmentTypically staffed with multiple technologists per shift; weekend night shifts have 2 techsRoyal blue scrubs are requiredCandidates must be available to start any day of the first week as scheduled due to variable orientation datesNo RTO allowed during orientation or on weekends and holidays; RTO after booking is strictly not permittedCandidates must be prepared for a very fast-paced environmentFacility requires two manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months at time of startTravelers who have worked at the facility within the past 12 months must obtain rehire approvalLocal candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower local rateTesting must be completed within 48 hours of signing\n \n Requirements\n
At least 2 years of recent experience as a CT TechnologistBLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications requiredExperience operating both Siemens and GE CT scanners is mandatoryDemonstrated skill with inpatient, ER, adult ICU, and some trauma casesAbility to perform CT procedures listed under job detailsLicense required if applicable and must be in hand at time of startEpic charting experience requiredUnit will accept first-time travelers\n Benefits\n
