Communications Business Partner
Communications defines and executes communication and public relations strategies in support of the company's business objectives, image, and reputation for both internal and external stakeholders. This function builds relationships with external stakeholders, including media and community organizations, and designs meetings and communications to leverage these relationships and promote the company. Communications Business Partner engages various internal audiences in the purpose and priorities of Cardinal Health, key initiatives and strategies with the goal of accelerating company performance. This job family develops and distributes print-based and digital communications including corporate policy manuals, internal newsletters, process handbooks, and function-specific documents created in collaboration with subject matter experts. This job family evaluates employee engagement with internal communications and liaises with leaders to ensure dissemination of communications.
Job Summary
This position, primarily focused on internal communications, is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies and tactics to engage employees and stakeholders in support of business strategies and initiatives. The role applies communication principles and practices, contributing to the communications strategies for the Global Business and Financial Services (GBFS) team and the Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions (PSS) IT team within the Global Technology and Business Services (GTBS) organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. Six+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field, preferred. Experience leading a team of communication professionals, preferred. Experience working with others globally or across regions, preferred. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong curiosity, strategy skills and ability to persuade. Strong organizational and project management skills. Self-directed, action-oriented, forward-thinking and innovative with high ethical standards. Strong analytical skills, good judgment, and strong operational focus. Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with peers and other business leaders. Demonstrated ability to achieve results individually through initiative and work collaboratively with others.
