POSITION SUMMARY
The Media Manager plays a dual role – leading media client relationships while driving strategic media planning and buying across all traditional and digital channels. This individual serves as the main point of contact for agency media clients, responsible for translating marketing goals into actionable media plans, negotiating media buys, overseeing campaign execution, and analyzing performance to ensure measurable ROI.
This position requires both strategic and executional expertise : a mix of client-facing relationship management and hands-on media buying experience in TV, radio, OOH, and digital.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Planning & Buying
- Develop and execute multichannel media strategies, including TV, radio, print, OOH, grassroots, and digital.
- Negotiate media rates, placements, and added value with vendors to maximize efficiency and exposure for clients.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and audience data to inform buying strategies.
- Collaborate with digital media teams to integrate paid social, OTT / CTV, and programmatic campaigns into holistic media plans.
- Manage relationships with media partners across both General Market and Hispanic Market segments.
- Track performance metrics, optimize campaigns in real time, and deliver post-buy reports with actionable insights.
Client Services & Strategy
Serve as the primary client contact, managing day-to-day communication and ensuring marketing initiatives align with business goals.Lead strategic planning discussions and collaborate with internal departments to ensure cohesive execution.Develop and present integrated marketing strategies and post-campaign performance reports to clients.Manage client budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation across client accounts.Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with project management and accounting teams to ensure accurate vendor billing, reconciliation, and reporting.Work alongside creative teams to ensure assets meet media specifications and are delivered on time.Maintain media planning tools, trackers, and budget documentation.Support onsite activations and experiential programs when media is integrated into live events.Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level : (Required) Bachelor's Degree o r equivalent experience4–6 years of experience in media buying, media planning, or client services within an agency or brand environment.Strong understanding of traditional and digital media, including measurement tools and analytics platforms.Proven success managing multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.Collaborative and proactive problem solver.Ability to translate analytics into strategic recommendations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media planning tools.Passionate about entertainment, sports, and multicultural marketing.Problem-Solving :

Constant : During working hours; the incumbent will mostly sit in front of a computer.
Occasional : Flexibility and willingness to work unconventional hours (nights and weekends) when necessary.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy while shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.Fast paced environment with peaks of intensity and increase in workloads.
