Automotive Master Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview :

We are looking for the best technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers
Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications

Qualifications :

Must be willing to work hard while having a have a positive attitude and a desire to serve others

Must be honest, ethical and represent the best of the industry

Must be accountable and hold themselves and others to the highest of standards

Must be willing to partner with others, offer solutions, and be a leader in solving difficult issues

10+ years of experience as an automotive technician / mechanic

Current ASE Certifications 1-8, L1

Diagnostic Genius

Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes / models of vehicles

Meet or exceed hourly goals

Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes

Professional appearance and strong communication

A desire for long-term career development

Must have a clean driving record and be insurable

Physical Requirements :

Occasionally lift and / or move over 100 pounds

Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head

Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair

Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools

Walk / stand for the majority of their workday

Drive manual transmissions vehicles

Efficiently navigate a computer
