G&A Partners client is currently seeking a Product Program Specialist to join its team in San Antonio TX .

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) is headquartered in San Antonio TX and serves more than 15000 Girl Scouts (girls and adults) across 21 counties in southwest Texas. Girl Scouts is the worlds preeminent leadership development organization for girls building girls of courage confidence and character who make the world a better place.

The Product Program Specialist supports all aspects of the councils fall product and cookie programs collaborating with product program volunteers and staff in the development and delivery of the premier entrepreneurial and financial literacy program for girls.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and implementation of the annual plan for the councils fall product and cookie programs in compliance with GSUSA and council policies regarding the Girl Scout product program.
  • Provides administrative support to the Product Program department including data entry in product program vendor systems maintenance of annual product program records and department mail telephone and email correspondence.
  • Accepts and processes product program payments and paperwork.
  • Coordinates logistics and prepares materials for product program volunteer meetings and trainings.
  • Supports the management of product delivery council booth sales and program incentives.
  • Recruits volunteers for council cookie warehouse.
  • Ensures and provides quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assists with sales stock and inventory of council retail stores.
  • Maintains volunteer system database by entering case management information accurately and timely.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned in support of the councils mission and goals.

  • Licensure / Membership Requirements : The employee is required to maintain membership with Girl Scouts of the United States of America throughout the duration of their employment with GSSWT.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications : To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education / Experience : Bachelors degree; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Ability : Ability to read analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Math Ability : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability : Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills : Must be proficient with computer and Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel Outlook and Word).

  • This position primarily performs its duties indoors and is occasionally exposed to outdoors weather conditions and / or moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.     Privacy Policy

    wage is $17 / hr.

    The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&As total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions annual bonuses and program specific addition G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees including health dental vision life insurance short-term and long-term disability flexible spending ancillary benefits retirement savings plan paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
