Job Details :

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (will accept 48-hour contracts upon request)
• Float requirement : First to float within skillset to Deaconess Midtown campus (8 miles) and potential float to Deaconess Henderson (11 miles)
• 2-hour notice given for cross campus float, mid-shift float within same campus possible
• Weekend requirement : Three weekends out of every six-week schedule
• Holiday requirement : Every other holiday
• Patient ratio : Days 1 : 4-5, with excellent LPN and CNA support
• 32-bed unit caring for patients with chest pain, abdominal pain, flank pain, CVA / TIA, and generalized weakness
• Required skills : PIV insertion, stable drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Required certifications : Current active compact license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years strong Med / Surg experience, 1 travel assignment, and trauma level II experience required
• Recent EPIC charting experience required with mandatory checkoff class
• Navy blue scrubs required with no competing health system or agency logos
• Teaching hospital environment may require precepting students and new hires
• Associate degree or certificate required
• 3 call-ins can result in termination
