Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Alma, Michigan (48801) – Michigan healthcare opportunity

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Clinical Setting : Operating Room (OR)

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : January 26, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (10-hour days)

On-Call : 1-2 nights per week

Weekends : Every 4-6 weekends

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860-$2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan – required for Michigan nursing jobs

BLS certification (AHA required)

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Travel nursing experience preferred

Epic EMR experience highly preferred

Must provide work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), and two supervisory references (within last 2 years)

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Alma, MI

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and deliver skilled perioperative nursing care as prescribed by physicians and evidence-based standards

Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, patient education, and safe patient transfers

Evaluate and update treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Delegate, supervise, and provide direction to clinical support staff as a team leader

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and hospital policies
