Job Summary :

Our client is seeking Senior SOC Analysts to work with a federal agency in Washington, DC. Candidates must have an active Top Secret Clearance and 8+ years of experience in security intrusion detection. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 02 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM, with flexibility for other shifts with prior notice. The Senior SOC Analyst handles second-tier escalation, supporting detailed analysis of security events across the Agency's network and ensuring quality work. They serve as the escalation point for Information Assurance Engineers and the Shift Team Lead.

Position Responsibilities :

• Review and accurately document all security incidents, including email notifications.
• Monitor and respond promptly to alerts generated by the SIEM tool or customer requests.
• Investigate incidents using various tools and recommend or take immediate actions to protect systems.
• Document incidents with clear narratives supporting conclusions.
