Research Contract Specialist II
Position Overview :
The Research Contract Specialist is responsible for managing and negotiating clinical trial agreements and related research contracts to ensure compliance with institutional, regulatory, and federal guidelines. This role serves as a key liaison between research teams, legal counsel, and operational departments, facilitating efficient and timely contract execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, review, and negotiate research-related contracts and amendments, including clinical trial agreements.
- Interpret and apply contract terms, laws, and institutional policies to ensure compliance.
- Track contract progress and facilitate timely execution of agreements.
- Advise stakeholders on regulatory and institutional requirements related to research contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external sponsors to resolve contract issues and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Healthcare, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a research-related field OR Paralegal certification.Experience : Minimum of 3 years' experience reviewing, drafting, editing, and negotiating contracts, preferably in an academic or medical setting. Strong experience in sponsor contract negotiation (grant experience is a plus).Skills : Familiarity with clinical trial agreements, regulatory compliance, and grant administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign. Preferred : Experience supporting research teams in Heart, Lung, Vascular, Digestive Health, and Orthopedics.Job Type & Location :

Pay and Benefits :
