Raw Material Receiving

Manage inventory movements physically and electronically into the ERP system. Ensure and maintain accuracy of the quantity and aging of raw materials. Receive materials from full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, and physically move them to desired locations. Perform periodic inventory cycle counts to maintain desired levels of materials. Manage the locations and space allocations of raw material, and make recommendations to increase utilization of these areas. Prepare material for loading into machines by removing packaging material.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory movements physically and electronically in the ERP system.
  • Ensure accuracy of quantity and aging of raw materials.
  • Receive and relocate materials from FTL and LTL shipments.
  • Conduct periodic inventory cycle counts.
  • Optimize locations and space allocations for raw materials.
  • Prepare materials for machine loading by removing packaging.
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of inventory processing experience.
  • 1+ year of material handling experience.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving.
  • Proficiency in ERP navigation.
  • Forklift operation skills.
  • Experience with cycle counts.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Inventory management capabilities.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with picking and material handling.
  • Inventory cycle count experience of at least 1 year.

    Work Environment

    Work on the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 6 : 30am to 3 : 30pm, and Friday from 6 : 30am to 12 : 30pm. The role is set in a sheet metal manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed or safety-toed shoes and pants are required. The work involves machining, fabrication, assembly, and storage tasks.

    This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 / hr.
