Job Description

Position Summary : The CT Tech / Radiology Tech performs radiology and CT procedures, conducting diagnostic evaluations of patients while providing clinical instruction to students. They follow pain management protocols and maintain records and supplies.

Essential Functions :

• Conducts CT and Radiology procedures and diagnostic evaluations, applying exposure parameters according to patient needs.
• Assesses patient needs relevant to procedures.
• Stocks rooms with supplies and maintains an organized working area.
• Maintains records for patient safety and diagnostic quality, performing Quality Assurance / Quality Control checks as needed.
• Utilizes radiation protection measures and follows hospital policies for pain management and restraint use.
• Demonstrates proficiency with PACS and MediTech systems.
• Provides clinical instruction to students and mentors new techs.
• Performs other assigned duties.
