Senior Electrical Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of schematics and layouts for automotive control units and PCBs in optomechanical systems

Ensure compliance with specifications and standards specific to body electronics and lighting

Develop test strategies and validation plans for control units and optomechanical systems

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred

Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in body electronics or lighting

Proficient in design tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro

In-depth knowledge of automotive specifications and standards, including ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100

Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
