Senior Sales Operations Manager

The Role Senior Sales Operations Manager

You will build a scalable, data-driven sales engine. Your focus is operating cadence, forecasting accuracy, funnel hygiene, and AI / BI-powered insights that improve productivity across SMB and Enterprise motions. You will turn data into clear recommendations for leadership, partner with BizTech to ship scalable processes, and pilot automation that removes manual work from outbound and data ops. What You'll Do

  • Own the sales operating rhythm : weekly forecast, pipeline reviews, monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Define and enforce stage definitions, rules of engagement, and data standards
  • Improve data foundations : enrichment, match and dedupe, SLAs, list governance so reps work clean queues with full ICP fields
  • Maintain ICP, TAM, and whitespace; publish coverage and penetration by segment and territory
  • Deliver channel attribution with cost, volume, conversion, and payback; share weekly trend call-outs
  • Automate outbound data ops : list builds, validation, routing, alerts, rep-assist signals
  • Reconcile bottom-up and top-down forecasts; instrument early-warning indicators and flag risks early
  • Lead the AI and automation charter : identify, pilot, and scale agentic workflows across enrichment, targeting, messaging assistance, and follow-up
  • Translate business needs into requirements; run UAT with BizTech; align with Marketing, Finance, and CX on handoffs and definitions
  • Build executive-ready dashboards and narrative readouts that drive decisions

  • Forecast error improves quarter over quarter
  • Stage hygiene and conversion increase by segment
  • Manual hours removed across targeted workflows; SDR lead-scrub time reduced by 50%
  • Core ICP fields ? 90% enriched; duplicate rate ? 2%
  • Reply and meeting rates up, cycle time down, cost per meeting down
  • Weekly channel dashboards adopted by GTM leaders with variance within target
  • What You Bring

    5+ years in Sales Operations at a high-growth B2B SaaS company

    Proven ownership of forecasting, pipeline governance, and performance modeling

    Track record of process improvement and automation with measurable impact

    Experience supporting SMB and Enterprise motions

    Executive-ready communication and strong cross-functional influence

    Tools and Skills

    Salesforce fluency : requirements, data model, reporting, UAT, best practices

    AI and automation : hands-on with agents and workflow orchestration; measures ROI and scales wins

    Data and BI : Tableau or Metabase; comfort with SQL and basic statistical methods

    Sales stack : Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Chili Piper, HubSpot with knowledge of HubSpot to Salesforce data flow

    Key Deliverables

  • Weekly : forecast and pipeline review, channel attribution dashboard with trend notes, SDR queue health
  • Monthly : manager scorecards on attainment, coverage, velocity, risks and next actions; TAM coverage and outbound target refresh
  • Quarterly : business review, whitespace analysis with territory and coverage recommendations, attribution model and assumption review
