This is a full-time, on-site position.

Sets up, operates, and produces slit products using equipment in a safe manner, following specifications, and ensuring quality products are sent out on time in full..

Responsibilities :

• Inspect print and seam quality continuously and identify basic defects.
• Remove defective material and perform roll splicing using proper tools (ruler, knife, hole punch).
• Handle, cut, and palletize rolls carefully to prevent damage.
• Set up and operate rewind and turret machines to cut, count, and wind rolls per customer specs.

Use job jackets and work instructions to confirm production requirements before starting runs.

Create and apply core labels; stack and separate orders by size, city, UPC, or plant number.

Monitor rolls during operation for misprints, report errors, and cut out defective labels.

Direct flawed materials to rework and participate in reworking “bad” rolls as needed.

Clean and maintain machines such as rewinders, turret, jogging, and wrapping equipment.

Assist with setup of jogging, heat tunnel, and polywrap machines; remove defective stock before cutting.

Use the vision system to inspect product, generate outer carton labels, and ensure correct labeling.

Inspect finished packs for defects, scrap, or incorrect wrapping and ensure proper boxing per SOPs.

Accurately calculate label counts, conversions, and chipboard quantities for each job.

Operate simple Windows-based software for data entry and order tracking.

Meet physical demands : frequent standing and walking, occasional bending or lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintain full visual acuity.
