POSITION : Counselor, Itinerant (205 Days Full-time)

LOCATION : Taylor County Schools

EFFECTIVE DATE : 2025-2026 School Year, Upon Board Approval

SALARY : Based on Taylor County Salary Scale which can be found at link below :

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Masters degree in guidance and counseling or Valid certification as established by state certification requirements
• Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of current counseling methods
• Exhibits knowledge and / or experience in intervention techniques in destructive behavior patterns that prohibit students from learning
• Exhibits ability to determine individual school needs and deliver appropriate program(s)
• Exhibits ability to work effectively with the school's administration, teaching staff, and parents
• Demonstrates ability to recognize students who are in a crisis situation and provide appropriate intervention techniques
