Position Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Santa Ana, CA (On-site)
Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year + 5%–15% bonus
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization. This role is responsible for supporting the general ledger and fixed asset accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in fixed assets, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset tracking
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and related general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and intercompany transactions
- Perform complex account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Leverage ERP systems and advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze large datasets
- Ensure all accounting activities are in compliance with GAAP
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger exposure
- Demonstrated experience with fixed asset accounting and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience working in a large organization preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
