Must-Have :

Experience in Cardiac Telemetry.

Experience with TAVR, watchmans, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preop / post op open heart care, cardiac IV and PO, cardiac drips (cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin), anticoagulant management, CHF, CP, arythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post op CABG greater than three (3) days, sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, and observation patients.

The RN is responsible and accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and relevant policies.

The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

The RN assesses, plans, delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a group of patients.

They serve as a primary nurse and / or accountable nurse, when designated by unit assignment and based on factors related to safety, effectiveness, competency, cost, and impact.

The RN educates patients and families in health promotion and disease management using available resources.

They utilize a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administer medications according to policy.

The RN shares responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services.

They comply with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and relevant policies.

The RN actively participates in and supports the Nursing Shared Governance Model by supporting the Unit Council, engaging in improvement initiatives, and contributing to peer review practices.

They engage in professional development, continuing nursing education, and complete all mandatory education requirements.

The RN integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.

The RN provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.

They will follow all relevant organizational values and perform other duties as assigned.
