Inside Sales Manager (Manufacturing) – Remote with Monthly Travel
We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead and support our Inside Sales and Customer Service teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This key leadership role will focus on pricing, optimizing the sales process, driving team performance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
This is a remote position with monthly travel requirements (one week a month).
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing inside sales and customer service team.
- Design and implement strategic sales plans to grow the customer base across the U.S. and Canada, in coordination with the Outside Sales team.
- Set, monitor, and report on individual and team sales targets.
- Oversee and optimize the sales administration process , including pricing, discounting, and CRM usage.
- Manage the pricing process , ensuring consistency and profitability across product lines and markets.
- Use customer feedback and market insights to support product development and service improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
- Support lead generation efforts and sales pipeline development.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts .
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales team members.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase sales efficiency and customer engagement.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure prompt, effective resolution.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Inside Sales Manager or in a senior sales leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills .Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Excel.In-depth knowledge of sales metrics, forecasting, and pricing strategies .Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration , or a related field.Why Join Us?
