This position will provide case coordination for children in the Developmental Disabilities Program accessing Family Directed Services (FDS). Developmental Specialists in the FDS program have reported that they enjoy making a difference in the lives of Idaho children in the FDS Program, working in a positive, supportive environment and culture, work-life balance free from an on-call schedule and billable hours, sharing knowledge while learning with a variety of team members across the state from different professional backgrounds.
This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest DHW location.
This position may be eligible for limited telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.
The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal history background investigation. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation.
