Job descriptionNH NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center (Wilmington) Brunswick Forest, Leland, NC (supporting Brunswick County) Multidisciplinary cancer care in partnership with radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, advanced radiology, and pathology Active participation in tumor boards, multidisciplinary clinics, and nurse navigation programs Opportunities to engage in hospice and palliative care Academic involvement through UNC School of Medicine : NH NHRMC serves as a main campus for UNC medical students and residents Robust and expanding clinical research portfolio supported by Novant Health and UNC partnerships Current team includes 10 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers, with plans for continued growth Call schedule : 1 in 10, evenly distributed. Inpatient care supported by a dedicated hospitalist team Focus on disease site specialization-most physicians concentrate on 1-2 primary disease areas We are a Commission on Cancer-accredited program committed to excellence in cancer care.
