About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused healthcare team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to exam. You'll work closely with physicians and nurses to support high-quality care while managing essential clinical and administrative tasks.

What You'll Do

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
• Monitor patient arrivals and assist with efficient patient flow.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for procedures.
• Record vital signs, allergies, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Collect specimens and take measurements (height, weight, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical records in Epic EMR.
• Ensure lab reports and documentation are ready for appointments.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Provide interpretation services and clerical support as needed.
• Uphold HIPAA standards to protect patient confidentiality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
