A Day in the Life

In this exciting role at Medtronic's Danvers facility, you will provide support in manufacturing operations and / or distribution centers including assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and / or distribution of Medtronic products. The Danvers Site has been part of Medtronic since 1984 and serves several internal partners that require delivery systems for its therapies. A Danvers product impacts a customer somewhere in the world about every 2 seconds. Danvers has annualized cost of goods of about 120 million USD supporting revenue of 8 billion USD. The site supports eleven Medtronic OUs with finished goods and components and employs over 1000 people. The site operates several product lines like : Guide Catheter, Export, PWP, Guardwire, Enveo, Spiderman, MRI, CryoCath, Fusion, Micra, Needle, TrailBlazer, React, Bolero, and Sensight. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
• Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
• Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
• Coaches operators / assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup / breakdown as needed.
• Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.

Required Knowledge and Experience : Requires minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

2+ years Medtronic experience at Assembler III level or above OR Experiencing leading small team of 10-12 OR 4 + yrs. experience in assembly / production SAP experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $50,400.00 - $75,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
