American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Med / Surg RN with at least three years of experience and a valid NC or compact license for a night shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Med / Surg unit of a hospital setting
  • Primarily adult patient population
  • Night shifts from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am
  • 48-hour work weeks, four 12-hour shifts per week
  • Oncology patient care experience is a plus but not required
  • Responsible for comprehensive patient care and coordinating care delivery in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Performs bedside point-of-care testing as needed
  • Participates in patient and family education, discharge planning, and supports patient advocacy
  • Team-oriented environment with opportunities for leadership and professional development
  • Applicants must include all requested time off (RTO) with application to be considered
  • Successful background check and drug screen required prior to start

  • Active NC or compact RN license
  • Minimum of three years of Med / Surg or Oncology RN experience
  • Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Charge nurse experience is a plus
