Summary :

This position provides technical support within the Civil / Environmental Department in Pittsburgh, PA. Primary activities will be to provide support for various projects with public and private clients, with focus on the energy industry. Activities will include design efforts associated with various solar projects, reclamation projects, bioenergy and natural gas gathering and transfer pipelines, pads, and compressor stations. The candidate may be requested to support other projects / programs that are also managed and supported within this department and the Pittsburgh office. Day-to-day activities will be directed by the Civil / Environmental Department Manager. This position reports to an office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but may be supported remotely or in any of our office locations.

Your Role :

• Support in the modeling and design of Post Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) controls.
• Support the design of Erosion and Sediment control measures to support permit applications.
• Support various phases of technical work from proposal thru implementation working with other groups within the office including administrative, CADD, GIS, wetlands, and construction.
• Review and implement appropriate regulations associated with proposed efforts including local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Support project proposals and successfully completion of the awarded project in accordance with the proposal schedule and budget.
• Able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere providing and taking direction on various aspects of the design and permitting process.
• Interface with various Project Managers, Subcontractors, and as appropriate client and government regulatory agencies.
