Software Engineer (SDEV II) | Cache Valley, Utah

Nexeo is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer (SDEV II) to join our clients Engineering team and lead the development of high-performance applications. Responsibilities

Architect and implement software features using C# and .NET Core / Framework

Optimize performance through concurrent, multi-threaded, and asynchronous programming

Design and integrate scalable APIs with third-party systems

Write clean, maintainable code and debug using MS Visual Studio

Collaborate through Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and CI / CD tools like TeamCity or Azure DevOps

Build real-time systems using TCP, UDP, WebSockets, and HTTP protocols

Contribute to desktop UI development with WPF

Review code, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers

Work closely with product managers to solve problems and bring features to life

Qualifications

Must-Haves :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience with C# and .NET

Strong knowledge of async / await and concurrent programming patterns

Experience building scalable APIs and system integrations

Proficient with Visual Studio, Git, and modern DevOps tools

Understanding of real-time systems and communication protocols

Excellent communication and ability to work independently or on a team

Nice-to-Haves :

Experience scaling applications (horizontal / vertical / algorithmic)

Solid understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and matrix transformations

Familiarity with relational and time-series database design

Schedule

Full-Time | On-Site or Hybrid (Must be local to or willing to commute to Cache Valley, Utah)
