Compensation Associate
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8-5pm
Responsibilities :
- Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data to evaluate the competitiveness and fairness of the organization's pay practices
- Conduct benchmarking studies and market analysis to assess the organization's compensation levels relative to industry standards and trends
- Participate in or conduct salary surveys to gather data on market pay rates, trends, and practices for various job roles
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation programs, policies, and structures to attract and retain top talent
- Evaluate job roles, responsibilities, and requirements to determine appropriate job classifications, pay grades, and salary ranges
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to compensation, including Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines
- Assist in designing and administering incentive programs, bonuses, and performance-based compensation plans to drive employee motivation and engagement
- Communicate compensation policies, programs, and changes to employees, managers, and stakeholders to ensure understanding and transparency
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards on compensation metrics, trends, and analysis for Human Resource leadership and decision-making purposes
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; a master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Experience : 2–4 years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or a related human resources function.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle).
Experience with compensation survey tools and market pricing software preferred.
