Physician Affiliate Group of New York ( PAGNY ) is adding a Dermatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem . Harlem Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, recognized for excellence in Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging, and Sexual Assault Forensics. The hospital serves nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, over 83,000 emergency visits, and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. It maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons .

We seek a Dermatologist for a part-time role (~24 hours / week). Responsibilities include consulting on skin ailments, prescribing medications, performing skin procedures, resecting skin lesions, teaching students and residents, and consulting with other specialties. The ideal candidate is attentive, an excellent communicator, and proficient in dermatological procedures.

Dermatologist Responsibilities

• Offering skin consultations
• Evaluating skin conditions and screening for systemic diseases
• Using patient medical history in assessments
• Prescribing medications
• Performing non-invasive skin procedures
• Referring to specialists as needed
• Educating patients on skin health
