Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education Teachers to provide essential onsite support for K-12 students with severe disabilities. Serving students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), non-verbal challenges, difficult behaviors, and developmental delays, this role is critical in delivering adaptive curriculum instruction tailored to each child's unique needs.

Location : Reidsville, NC

Duration : Contract through the current school year, starting ASAP (December 1) through May 22, 2026

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6.5 hours per day (approximately 35 hours per week)

Classroom Size : Approximately 10 students per class, with paraeducator and behavior support (RBTs, BCBAs) assistance

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specially designed instruction based on adapted curriculum models for K-12 students with severe disabilities
• Manage classroom environments for students with diverse and complex needs, ensuring safety and engagement
• Collaborate with paraeducators and behavior specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to support developmental growth
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate regularly with families and school staff
