Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working in a dynamic global design environment with a diverse range of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, and transportation facilities.

Responsibilities include :

  • Design Conceptualization and Development : Support the creation and development of design concepts across various project types.
  • Design Review and Critique : Collaborate with the team to review and provide feedback on early-phase design concepts, contributing to their refinement.
  • Documentation and Technical Support : Assist in the production of design development documents, construction models, and detailed drawings.
  • Research and Innovation : Conduct research and support development initiatives as required by the office to enhance project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Presentations : Prepare and assist in delivering design presentations to clients, communities, public agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Outstanding communication skills with a strong team-oriented mindset, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Proven proficiency in creative and innovative design thinking, collaborative problem-solving, architectural production, spatial and environmental design, story development, and delivering exceptional design solutions.
  • Preferred experience with rendering and 3D modeling software, such as 3DS Max, SketchUp, and Maxwell Render.
  • Familiarity with Revit is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional sketching and freehand drawing skills, capable of producing quick and impactful sketches to effectively communicate and sell design concepts.

    • Essential Qualifications

  • Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) from an accredited program.
  • 3+ years of professional architectural experience.
