Commercial Garbage Route Driver- Moses Lake, WA

Safety Minded Commercial Licensed Driver

LakeSide Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking to hire a Safety Minded Commercial Licensed Driver to join our team in Moses Lakes, WA. This position will work Monday-Friday 5 : 30AM to 3 : 00PM with occasional overtime. Driver rate of pay is $28.20 / HR.

Duties and responsibilities include :

• Ability to safely drive on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Waste experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the route or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift / load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5 : 30AM to 3 : 00PM with an occasional Saturday as needed, 45-50 hour work week. Ideal candidate will possess :
