Thriving Family Medicine with Obstetrics opportunity in Algona, IA. This position offers a busy practice with instant patient volume, C-sections, full spectrum family medicine including ER & hospitalist work, and strong specialty support .

Practice Highlights

Join 8 Physicians + 3 Advanced Practice Providers

Full-spectrum Family Medicine including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist

Call : OB / Hospitalist 1 : 9; C-sections 1 : 3

Specialists on site : Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Orthopedics, and more

Comprehensive diagnostic & support services : Lab, X-ray, MRI, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Med, PT, RT, OT, ER

25-bed critical access hospital + primary care clinic

Part of a larger regional health system covering 14 counties with extensive referral network

Not accepting Locums

Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (BE within 3 years, must become BC within 1 year of employment) Required

OB Fellowship-trained (must be completed prior to start) Required

Must be able and willing to perform C-sections Required

IA License or IMLC (or ability to obtain) Required

Schedule & Coverage

Full-time practice with clinic, hospitalist, OB, surgical obstetrics, and ER responsibilities

Call for OB / Hospitalist : 1 : 9

Call for C-sections : 1 : 3

Compensation & Benefits

$250,000 sign-on bonus (paid over 5 years)
