Tarpon Specialty Services is hiring an experienced ICP Lab Technician (Inductively Coupled Plasma) for a full-time role in the Corpus Christi / Robstown, TX area. This position performs elemental analysis using ICP instrumentation and supports accurate laboratory testing for industrial customers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain ICP analytical instruments
  • Prepare and process samples per SOPs, QC plans, and industry lab standards
  • Perform data review, QA / QC validations, and accuracy checks
  • Troubleshoot equipment or method issues when needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab bench / documentation
  • Follow all safety policies (PPE, chemical handling, LOTO, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ICP spectrometry (required)
  • Familiar with analytical chemistry in an industrial lab environment
  • Knowledge of QA / QC procedures and laboratory safety
  • High attention to detail + consistent work ethic
  • Degree / certificate in Chemistry, Lab Science, or related field preferred
