Overview :
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our electrical construction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality commercial and institutional electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project documentation
- Track project schedules, budgets, and labor resources in collaboration with field teams
- Help manage subcontractor and vendor communications
- Maintain and organize project files, logs, and documentation using Procore or similar platforms
- Attend coordination and OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, QA / QC procedures, and project specifications
Qualifications :
2–4 years of experience in electrical or general contracting (internship or field experience a plus)Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsFamiliar with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)Effective communicator with both office and field personnelPreferred Experience :
Exposure to commercial, healthcare, or public works projectsUnderstanding of NEC and San Francisco building codesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
