VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in beautiful Mission Valley, San Diego, California is excited to announce the expansion of our specialty services with the addition of a full-time Veterinary Integrative Medicine Specialist. With the opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art 26,000-square-foot hospital in July 2024, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation—and we invite you to be part of it.

About Our Hospital

Our newly opened facility was designed to support the highest standard of veterinary specialty and emergency care. Our services include :

• 24 / 7 Emergency & Critical Care
• Internal Medicine
• Surgery
• Neurology & Neurosurgery
• Oncology
• Advanced Imaging (CT / MRI)
• Cardiology
• ICU & Specialty Nursing Teams

We are now expanding into Integrative Medicine to provide comprehensive, whole-patient care that blends advanced Western medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies.

Position Overview

We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Integrative Medicine Specialist who is passionate about providing individualized, multimodal treatment plans. This role offers the opportunity to build and grow a new integrative service line within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary referral hospital.

Key Responsibilities

What We Offer

Salary : $125,000

Compensation is based on education, experience, skillset and other relevant credentials.
