The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides quality ABA services to the patients on the Specialty Pediatric Unit. In addition, the BCBA serves as the professional who develops and implements ongoing services to the staff.
Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric UnitProvide supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health AssociatesTrain new staff on ABA techniquesKeeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvementFacilitates daily team meetingsAttend staff meetings as required and complete all yearly mandatory in-servicesProvide direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric UnitConduct appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in a timely mannerParticipate in performance improvement activitiesFollow all hospital policies and proceduresMust maintain license or certification in good standingFlexible schedule; possible weekends or evenings when appropriateEmployee will be required to perform other job-related duties as assigned by their supervisorOther Functions

Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention PlansMust have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsExperience with working with adolescent populationMust be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.Licenses / Designations / Certifications
