Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a current MA license and required certifications for a night shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shifts are 3x12 hours (19 : 00-07 : 30)
  • Required to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
  • May float to the Clinton Campus as needed
  • 36 hours per week assignment
  • Epic EMR system experience strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to start shifts up to four hours before or after scheduled start times based on department needs
  • Successful completion of pre-start and orientation modules is required
  • Modules are completed both before and during orientation and are tracked in Workday
  • Team-based environment with potential to float between campuses
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required
  • First time travelers are accepted
  • Applicants must have a clear nursing license with no previous disciplinary actions
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active, permanent MA RN license in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Certifications required : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
  • Pass / fail EKG test required during orientation, with one attempt allowed; failing results in assignment cancelation
  • Completion of required education verification process prior to start
  • 200-mile minimum distance required between permanent address and facility for this travel assignment
