RN Skilled Nurse Position Summary

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for supervising and leading our clinical team on the unit. Their leadership role includes the following responsibilities :

• Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
• Perform other assigned duties as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

RN Unit Manager Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state
• Current CPR / BLS Certification
