Unit : LAC Resource Team – Oncology (Non-Certified)

Start Date : January 4, 2026

End Date : April 5, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 48

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680-$1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience; oncology nursing experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and communication skills

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a clinical hospital environment

Monitor patient status, administer chemotherapy and other medications, and manage individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Offer emotional support, patient education, and advocacy for patients and families

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
