As a Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle during your patrols. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while you deliver exceptional customer service as part of the Allied Universal team.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, reporting any irregularities according to established protocols.

Document observations and incidents in detailed reports, maintaining accurate records for the location.

Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important security-related information.

Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious activities that may impact the operations of a chemical or petrochemical facility, and promptly report findings to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
