Job Summary :

As a Subaru Sales Consultant at Mitchell Subaru in Canton, Connecticut, you will be responsible for assisting customers in purchasing new or used Subaru vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your sales skills and knowledge of Subaru vehicles. You will work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation and benefits package. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge of the automotive industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of all Subaru models to potential customers
  • Conduct test drives and accompany customers on vehicle demonstrations
  • Provide accurate and transparent pricing information to customers
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
  • Stay up-to-date on all Subaru product knowledge and industry trends
  • Collaborate with the sales team to plan and execute marketing and sales initiatives
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the showroom and lot

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous sales experience in the automotive industry is an asset
  • Knowledge of Subaru vehicles and their features and benefits is preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Proficiency in using various computer software and applications
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and evenings
