Delivery Driver Position

A Rapid DSP Delivery Driver is expected to be on time, courteous, conscientious, honest, and hard working. We work 7 days a week from 10 : 30 AM - 8 : 30 PM or when every package has been delivered. We drive and deliver in all types of weather in a variety of delivery locales. Our drivers must be comfortable working on their own using hand held technology to follow a GPS coordinated route, while driving a large vehicle, and obeying every traffic law to the letter. Rapid DSP Delivery Drivers deliver every package and we do it with a smile!

Rapid DSP is a locally owned company looking for seasonal delivery drivers to make small parcel deliveries on behalf of a major online retailer. We are dedicated to providing exceptional delivery service to the Mansfield / DeSoto / Duncanville community. DELIVERY DRIVERS MUST LIVE WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE OF MANSFIELD, TX!

Delivery Driver Qualifications :

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must hold a valid, unrestricted, driver's license
• Ability to pass a standard background check and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to pass a 4 panel drug screen
• Ability to work 4 days a week, for at least 10 hours per day, one weekend day is required
• Ability to safely drive a large vehicle, no CDL required
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, managers, and warehouse employees
• Ability to effectively operate a mounted global positioning system (GPS) navigation system
• Ability to work on own and follow a series of instructions without constant supervision
• Ability to drive and deliver in all types of weather, and in a variety of locations
• Ability to walk, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and / or stretch during shifts up to 11 hours long
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds each on a frequent basis
• Ability to be on time and maintain consistent attendance
• Reliable personal transportation is a must!
