Lead Accessibility Equipment Installer / Technician

About the Job

We’re Next Day Access East Central Florida, and we help people stay safe and independent at home by installing wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, pool lifts, grab bars and more. Every day, our work makes life safer and more accessible for someone — and we take pride in that.

We’re looking for a hands-on installer / technician who’s good with tools, comfortable with mechanical work, and enjoys solving problems. If you have construction or mechanic experience, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to customer homes and businesses to service & install accessibility products such as aluminum ramps, stair lifts, pool lifts, and grab bars.
• Use hand and power tools to build and assemble equipment.
• Run simple wiring or electrical connections for lift systems.
• Keep tools, vehicle, and job sites clean and safe.
• Communicate with the office about progress, materials, and next steps.
• Treat every customer with respect and kindness.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical or construction background
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in Florida weather.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Friendly, reliable, and professional — especially with elderly or disabled customers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with accessibility products (ramps, stair lifts, pool lifts, grab bars).
• Basic measuring or layout skills.
• Desire to grow with a small, family-run team.
