Location : Amsterdam, NY
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Schedule : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM
Shift : Nights | Float to Med Surg as needed
Position Overview :
A facility in Amsterdam, NY is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate must have ICU expertise, prior travel experience, and the ability to float to the Medical Surgical (MS) unit when needed.
Responsibilities :
Provide high-acuity care to adult and pediatric ICU patients.
Float to MS units as needed to support patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility policies and procedures.
Requirements :
Active New York State RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Travel experience required; renewal history preferred
Facility will not consider previous staff members as travelers
Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 5 shifts during the 13-week assignment
Must be able to start ASAP
