Job Summary

The Opportunity : Patient Care Associate | Orthopedics-White 6

White 6 is a 30-bed unit with the clinical specialty being orthopedics and Oral Maxillofacial / Medical. The population of patients includes elective total joint replacement, trauma, and orthopedic oncology.

What are we looking for

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) will assist the RNs in White 6 with a variety of functions including phlebotomy and EKGs, transport patients, check rooms and equipment, assist patients with dressing and feeding and some clerical functions. Our Patient Care Associate team prides themselves in responding to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, monitoring patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.
