Job description

Overview

The client is seeking a contingent worker to support the procurement team. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing and working on contracts in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

  • Own contract review on small to medium contracts.
  • Communicate and partner effectively with internal stakeholders, including business partners and the legal team.
  • Negotiate with vendors to finalize Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Guide internal stakeholders to follow procurement processes and ensure policy compliance.
  • Support new vendor onboarding.
  • Own low dollar sourcing for projects under specified thresholds.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sourcing or indirect procurement experience.
  • Category specialist with experience in the IT software (SaaS) category.
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness, with frequent use of Slack or other chat tools.
  • Proactive and flexible to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to quickly learn and subsequently drive project ownership.
