Job Details

Job Responsibilities

Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation

Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines

Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure project goals are met

Monitor and control project costs, maintaining accurate records and reports

Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment

Resolve on-site issues and make critical decisions to keep projects on track

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on retail, commercial, and multifamily projects

Ideal candidate with experience in luxury retail projects with clients such as Gucci, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Apple Flagship Stores, etc.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites in the Detroit metropolitan area
