We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator to lead our external communications strategy and elevate our brand presence across digital and physical platforms. This role is ideal for a proactive multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys crafting compelling content, managing events, and building community relationships.
Responsibilities :
Social Media Management
- Develop, schedule, and manage engaging content across social media platforms.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize strategies for audience growth and engagement.
Proposal Development
Research, write, and coordinate responses to solicitations, RFPs, and other business opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.Support, as needed, grant writing for clients.Marketing Collateral Creation and Management
Design and manage external marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.Ensure brand consistency across all printed and digital assets.Website Oversight
Maintain and update company website content, layout, and functionality.Collaborate with developers or vendors as needed to enhance user experience.Community Engagement and Event Coordination
Identify, develop, and coordinate opportunities for community outreach, collaboration, and partnership.Represent the company at local and regional events—including career fairs, community programs, and industry activities—while cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.Attend meetings and public engagements on behalf of the company to strengthen visibility, support strategic initiatives, and enhance existing partnerships.Plan and execute external company events such as conferences, trade shows, and networking functions.Manage logistics, vendor relationships, and promotional efforts for career fairs, professional organization events, etc.Other job duties as assigned.
Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or event planning.Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.Proficiency in social media platforms, CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Covington Civil and Environmental, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
