The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Cardiology functions as part of the medical care management team. Responsibilities include diagnosing medical conditions, planning, and implementing treatments in collaboration with the medical staff, as per Florida Hospital Physician Group privileges. The ARNP may be required to take practice call depending on the practice setting.

Education And Experience Required

• MSN (Master’s of Nursing)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an RN in a Cardiology setting
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Cardiology ARNP; 1 year experience as a Cardiac Electrophysiology ARNP preferred
• Provides direct care under the supervision of an MD
