THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Hardware PCIe Engineer to join our Datastore team. You will be a key contributor to productizing Pure's innovative, high-performance, and energy-efficient storage solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of the electrical design of PCIe interfaces for our SSD products and play a critical part in shaping the future of the data storage industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive Electrical Design and Validation : Own the electrical design of PCIe interfaces for SSD products and lead the validation and debug of PCIe Gen5 and Gen6 devices.
• Ensure Robust Performance : Conduct signal integrity (SI) simulations and collaborate with external partners on high-speed interface simulation, validation, and compliance activities.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues : Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) partners to troubleshoot hardware issues, lead failure analysis, and conduct root cause investigations to support field and customer escalations.
• Leverage Automation : Use your scripting skills to leverage automation and AI to improve SSD design and validation workflows.

WHAT YOU BRING

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and / or equity.

The annual base salary range is :

$175,000-$263,000 USD
